Ch. Tanzanbar Extra Extra, OFA Good, elbows sound

When we first saw Rowdy, we were amazed at the type he had. Rowdy was a beautiful dog, and he had many of the qualities which we wanted to add to our foundation dogs. As you can see from his picture, he was a big dog with lots of substance -- a quality that is required in the standard but which we feel is missing in some lines of Berners. Rowdy's son, Geo, is our main stud dog at Kythe Kennels. No one would guess it looking at Geo because he is not a big dog, but he produces very nice puppies which we believe are much more like Rowdy than we would have ever expected. Rowdy travelled throughout the United States, and he gained an American championship. He also was a Bermuda Champion. We are thrilled to have Rowdy's type in our Berners!
