Hello again! Welcome to our home page. We will try to keep you busy with all kinds of Berner information, so hold on to your cart, and let's get carting.

Kythe's Limited Edition

This is Robbie. He was kept as a show potential puppy. He is a 9 month old AKC registered Bernese Mountain Dog puppy in this picture. As you can see, he is a large boned male for his age and has the typical, striking, tri colored markings of Bernese Mountain Dogs. Robbie is shown here winning Reserve at 9 months of age at the Eagle Rock Kennel Club show on October 23, 1999 in Boise, Idaho. Thank you Mrs. Fish for recognizing our fine Bernese puppy boy.

Prior to this win, he won Group 3 in a match held by our local kennel club. He loves showing!

Still considered a puppy at 15 months, Robbie was 27" when he reached 15 months old. He has been rated GDC Excellent hips. He has also had his eyes rated with no genetic disease (free of PRA and cataracts), and he will shortly receive his CERF certificate. He will also be rated by OFA after his second birthday. Robbie has been started training in draft work (which is also called carting). We were told that he has a wonderful Berner temperament for working in drafting. He was always cooperative and ready to do his work. We plan to get a championship title on him. When he becomes a champion, we plan to go on to an obedience title (CD, CDX, or UD), a draft dog title (NDD) and finally get his all around title called in the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America a versatility title.
